Alexandra Carpenter
Pool Manager
Alex brings her organizational and interpersonal expertise to the Abilene Swim Club as she facilitates staff and ensures the pool is meeting regulatory standards for safety as required by the City of Abilene and the State of Texas. Her experience as a university professor complements this role as she trains and supports the lifeguard staff and oversees daily operations.
Amanda Bentley
Membership and Accounts Coordinator
Amanda grew up swimming at the Abilene Swimming Club as young girl and has been back as an active member for over 8 years with her own family! She enjoys making memories and filling her family’s summers with the same joy she experienced as a kid!
Amanda is the person behind the emails for The Club. She coordinates with the Board of Directors and the Pool Manager to ensure that the Swim Club runs smoothly and efficiently.

Social Media and Digital Coordinator
Amanda has been coming to the pool with her family for more than 10 years and is excited to bring her experience in social media marketing to help get the word out to the Abilene area about the Abilene Swim Club and the wonderful resource it is for families during the summer.
You may spot her around the pool this summer as she creates content and documents all the great reasons why the Abilene Swim Club is a family-friendly, safe, and fun way to make memories that will last a lifetime.
